CSCE owns the strategic and systematic development, standardization, implementation, and measurement of key central engineering functions to drive efficiency, reliability, and world class cost optimization to support our global facilities portfolio. The scope of the Central Engineering Organization within Corporate Serviced consists of asset management, cost engineering, enabling growth, and automation.

As a CS - Facilities and Industrial Automation Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and inspire a team of Engineers and Architects to deliver ground-breaking technologies at the cutting edge of industrial automation utilized in Facilities Management.
  • Implement augmented Reality when technicians perform complex preventative maintenance on facilities systems.
  • Deliver analytical solutions to drive signal based and / or predictive preventative maintenance, utilities and natural resources cost management.
  • Deliver solutions in the IoT and smart building space to drive cost and utilization decisions.
  • Create solutions to setup and improve Global Command Centers to monitor and maintain facilities systems across Intel's locations worldwide.
  • Research and implement autonomous robotics solutions for material movement, safety, monitoring and other new use cases.
  • Deliver automation initiatives to advance worldwide organization efficiency, quality, standardization, and organizational speed.
  • Lead a team of engineers that will deliver new and innovated capabilities using ground-breaking technologies at the cutting edge of industrial automation.
  • Manage an organization of cross-geo senior technical engineers whose scope is to drive and deliver automation strategic projects to implement and benefit realization.
  • Perform buy vs development analysis and influence the CS Automation roadmap appropriately.
  • Conduct technical feasibility analysis along with cost and schedule for the approval of funding and resources to develop automation capabilities.
  • Establish, develop, and foster strong stakeholder, customer, and partner relationships with focus on strong automation capability road map alignment and flawless execution for corporate services, factory, and RDSM partners.
  • Explore emerging business disruptions and ideas in the industry and identifying opportunities to influence and intercept internal product roadmaps with specific product and-or feature responses.
  • Define an inspiring vision for the team and develop and nurture a high performing team with focus on establishing an inclusive work environment.
  • Understand and adapt to a newer technology landscape including, cloud computing, remote operations, augmented reality, predictive maintenance, autonomous automated guided vehicles -AGVs, fab, sub-fab power reduction software, IoT sensors and gateways, and advanced analytics tools-techniques.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following two degrees and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline with 9+ years of related experience and 3+ years of management experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline with 6+ years of related experience and 3+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience working in industrial automation systems
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Factory Automation, Warehouse Automation or other industrial automation systems.
  • Experience in: applications like production equipment, control systems, and data analytics.
  • Experience translating technology roadmaps to capability deliverables.
  • Project management understanding and experience.
