Job Summary:

Provides engineering support for Company by supporting functions utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations by performing the following duties, working well on a team as well as on their own with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product launch and Development, in setting up New Production Fabrication lines
  • Keeping existing Programs up and running, including but not limited to, Customized Machines,
  • Calibrate different parts of the machine and then test it for accuracy.
  • Complete all work orders, and logs documenting work has been done.
  • Monitoring and inspecting the equipment to make sure it conforms to Customer’s Specifications Requirements,
  • Take steps to correct any abnormalities.
  • Schedule the next available opportunity to make upgrades.
  • Working quickly to repair the problem and minimize unplanned downtime
  • Ordering the Spare Parts required

Demonstrated Abilities:

  • Perform Corrective Maintenance, providing Engineering Support in Production Departments
  • Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
  • Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
  • Develop and document Work Instructions to be used by plant personnel during fabrication processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and other tools such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
  • Interpreting schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents before installing a new piece of equipment.
  • Preventative and Corrective Maintenance to diagnose and solve malfunctions using a combination of technical expertise and analytical thinking.
