Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is growing our Residential Sales Team with a Lead Inbound Sales Representatives.

Candidates may be located in Phoenix or Poplar Bluff for this role.

You will consistently exceed delivery on our promises to be helpful, personal, proactive, and committed by supporting our customers with internet, phone, and video services that help them stay connected to what matters most – whether that’s making sure families can video chat with deployed service members, ensuring a Twitch streamer is connected late at night when the audience is online, or giving a small business owner faith that their internet connection will power their team through client pitches and product demos.

What will your day look like?

  • Talk with customers throughout the day to deliver on our promise of being helpful, personal, proactive, and committed by helping them choose which internet, phone, or video package best suits their needs.
  • You will provide coaching and training to current and new Inbound Sales team members on a regular basis.
  • Work the sales floor regularly to promote a positive atmosphere for associates and to assist, provide, and identify, training opportunities as required.
  • Provide the best customer service to everyone who calls the sales line.
  • Upsell services that can take customers’ entertainment to the next level.
  • Update customer data using the sales platform.
  • Provide feedback to management concerning associate job performance and expectations.
  • Manage all feedbacks, work order issues, escalated phone calls and serviceability requests for their respective teams.
  • Work successfully with many departments and locations to resolve customer related issues.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The technology world never stops changing – You will need to be able to keep pace with the product improvements we’re providing our customers.
  • A positive attitude is a must for improving the customer experience.
  • Resilience – the ability to stay cool, calm, and collected during difficult or challenging circumstances and bounce back with positivity.
  • Excellent communication skills needed, both verbal and written, to share Sparklight’s vision with our customers in person, as well as in a virtual setting.
